I surely dislike when the good parts are edited out of films, though I understand but can't stand that, and it's worse when the voice is no where similar to the voice of the actor. That's too crazy, lol! Now I'm curious as to what Pope saw in that black Charger, hmmmm....interesting!! You saw two old hags fighting in Denny's now you've seen two old sea hags (LMBO) in Wal-Mart arguing over a spot, what a funny sight that is, and then on a Hoveround, ha. Pope sees alot of things, lol! This was a great read btw!
Glad you enjoyed Shauntee. It seems like everyone's looking for their minute of FAM, so they'll do whatever they think will get them one step closer, like stop a bank robber. Lol, some folks actually get that fame, but cant enjoy it, because their 3x5 pic is on an obituary!
I am in total agreement with the media and their portrayal of "normality". Did you hear about the bank teller who chased a bank robber out of the bank and ended up getting fired? Poor idiot. Thought he was doing a good thing and protecting his employer and in the end was served with the old BOHICA...(Bend Over Here It Comes Again) First of all, ain't nothing that serious. There are countless people taking foolish risks everyday simply because they are "tired" of robbers. Let me tell you something. If I were a clerk at a gas station or a bank teller, and some fool wanted to come in and rob me, I am not asking any questions except for, "Do you want me to put some cigarettes in the bag for you too"? I mean come on...there is nothing out there worth risking my life for, because the banks and gas stations are insured and will recoup their losses. Get a clue people!!
You want to talk about a bigot...take a closer look at Glenn Beck. That lame moron had the audacity to say that Obama has a deep seated hatred for white people...ummm...seriously...he's half white. Jesus wept.
WWE is so trifiling with their played out antics every week. Like I stated earlier, I could go on and on about the WWF that existed a long time ago but I won't. I'll keep my memories and hope that TNA keeps on kicking! I bet you coulda sold Vince for a quarter when he found out all of his former talent was working for the competition. And is it just me or does Vince walk like his crotch is on fire?
I am loving the spoken words. I am a great fan of Michael and I loved the tribute that MTV did to him. Now BET on the other hand...NO WORDS! Yea, I am still angry about that one.
Kanye...People are going to learn to ban him from publicly speaking at any majorly broadcasted event. He has taken his freedom of speech tirade just a tad too far. I turn my television whenever he is on.
I cannot wait to hear more from you regarding everyday life incidents. It's refreshing that a celebrity would even care to comment on such things and share his beautiful life with others.
When are you going to start following some of your fans on Twitter? I have been patiently awaiting...ho hum...
"Pope's Spoken Word(s)" is a great idea, and I look forward to reading these weekly. I thought the MJ tribute at the MTV Video Awards was awesome!! So much that I have watched it several times. Janet was great as well, "Scream" is a favorite, I definitely like the lyrics:]
Hmm..no comment for Kanye, hope he really takes that time off that he's proclaiming to need and utilizes it for his own good. SMH
Anywho, very good blog Pope, can't wait to read what Vol. 2 holds.
Pope is happy that you've enjoyed. Look for these every week now as Pope's "Flights From Hell" have become so normal that I just deal with it like a phone ringing or a car cutting in from of you. Lol, Everyday life, ya know? Lol
Its always good to hear that the world has alot of genuine people in it, though at times it might not seem like it. How Pope feels about his dear friend Molly is honestly how HIS true congregation feels about him. If we all can share our encounters and experiences, we would agree upon many things such as your caring heart. Thanks for sharing your story Pope=)
Oh wow...that is one ugly he/she. Oh my eyes. They have been tainted. Reminds me of that time someone pulled Flair's trunks down and all I seen was Flairs untanned behind. Oh geez. I think I am going to be sick. *runs to the bathroom*
You made his day! The joyful look on the little guys face says it all, I can imagine the great feeling he felt and experienced, a wonderful memory that will stick with him forever.
This story put a huge smile on my face. You have a loyal fan for life and he will never forget his experience. One day, he may reach out to a kid just like you did for him.
Michael Jackson's memorial service was so great, noble celebration of his life. From the moment it started, hearing the gospel until the end when Paris's heartfelt words to her beloved father (that just about broke me down, Angelita couldn't take it anymore). Jennifer Hudson's performance was beautiful, as I really like the song "Will You Be There!" Al Sharpton's speech was on top, and when he spoke to the children of MJ in saying what WAS needed to be said, he had me shouting "Amen" and "preach on!!" I'm glad he said it!! I enjoy the memorial so much, but I won't get into every little bit and piece as my comment will be longer than this blog, so I'll leave it be.
Anywhoo...I never thought about MJ not being in the casket and you do make a lot of good sense in your presumption. I hope no one ever knows where MJ's remains are except his loved ones, as I feel he should be left alone and resting in peace. MJ will be always loved and missed!
I'd like to say that I am so glad that Pope is feeling much better, you don't know how happy I am at knowing this. I greatly look forward to that bigness, blackness, and badness you will bring forth soon!!
I was playing with my little brother when I decided to get on the computer for a minute. I saw this headline that said something like "Michael Jackson... Dead or Alive?" And I was pretty surprised when I saw it. At the time I found out people still werent' sure if Michael had died yet so everyone was still just waiting. So I turned on the news and after a few minutes, they said that it had been confirmed that Michael had died. It saddened me because once again, it made me think about just how life can be snatched from you just like that.
I honestly don't know if anyone had more fans than Michael did. Even with all the child molesting accusations along with the plastic surgery stuff, he was still loved by everyone around the world. I guess he was one of those few special people whor were born with that special "it".
Man oh man I had something all typed out and when I hit save it didn't go through. Ugh. Anyways, I was playing with my little brother when I decided to get on the computer for a minute. I ran across this headline that said something like "Michael Jackson dead or alive?" And at that moment my mind kinda went blank. So I dedcided to turn the tv on to see what was up. At that time though, it wasn't being reported that Michael had died, just that he was in a coma. So a few minutes later they go to a commercial break and when they came back, they had confirmed that Michael had passed. It saddened me because it was another reminder of how quickly life can be snatched from us.

Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for leaving your comment!
That was a good blog Pope.
Very entertaining and fact filled.
As usual Pope, ya had me cracking up. I can't even imagine at this point what that was you saw behind the wheel of the Charger. LMBO!!

Carny
Thats cool, everyone loves the kids!
That was a good story Pope.
I'm trying to find a video of the 3 Way Match from December, 2008 in Puerto Rico. Any suggestions where to find one?
Good luck with the healing process. The sport needs you.
Peace.
