Seeing this pic makes me miss the FAM all that much more. This is the second time I got to meet up with everyone in person and I had the most amazing time. All these wonderful people above are not only my great friends buy my extended family and I love and miss you all so much already! Cant wait until we meet up again and remember.. that invitation to visit up north is always open! Much Love Fam.. talk to you soon!
Well my brother my brother, the one thing that we both know is the system is set up for who you know and how much money you have. As far as your question goes there is two ways to answer one as a bystander the other as a victim. Most people that call them selves Christain say no one should not be put to death, he should be put in prison for life, that is until someone they love has been victimized. So I implore people to really think about this question before you answer. Mincey
I will be honest, I been a fan since I first seen you (D'Angelo Dinero) on ECW, right away I thought...THIS GUY HAS IT! In a current ERA of Wrestling when it is guys who are "MAIN EVENT STARS" but lacks CHARISMA and MIC SKILLS, you would think this would be the guy that a Wrestling Company would push...but clearly Politics and A$$ Kissing is involved when it comes to this BUSINESS... I guess it is not based purely on talent and what the fans WANT obviously
anyway I too have stopped watching TNA on the Regular because of the LACK of D'Angelo Dinero on air, I will continue to be patient and check in every now and then to see what The Pope is up to but I cannot support TNA 100% when they are basically recycling guys we already seen have their moment in the Spotlight...10 YEARS AGO!
I hope you get your moment though D'Angelo I really do...but that moment should have happened already IMO
Keep up the good work, broski. You do what you gotta do. I'm personally hoping you're one of the first, if not the first, african american top champ in one of the two major American Promotions(WWE/TNA)
Pope I just want to say that from the time your character debuted on TNA TV you had us man. I used to watch TNA every wk but I gotta tell you after Hogan came to town he made me a WWE viewer, sorry but its true. Anyhow I used to watch TNA because it was different ethnicly it was awesome, There was you and Hernandez,Bobby Lashley,Samoa Joe,Hamada it was great everybody was getting a chance to shine, the knockouts division was awesome, and you were def on your way to being a world champion, which in the world of wrestling there are way to few people of color that reach that level. But anyway let me be more positive, The fans know who you are and we love watching you do your thing. And TNA is a buisness and sooner rather than later the higher ups and spike TV are going to have to decide if they want to stay in buisness! And if thats there choice then once again there going to have to start serving the fans who pay the bills, and not the huge ego's of a few overpaid over the hill guys! When that time comes and im sure it will I think i'll start tuning into TNa again, And im sure I will see the pope pimpin the heavyweight gold baby!
Love your attitude Pope, your time has got to come. I remember last year when you were getting hot and about to go for a championship run, I said to myself this is the first guy I've since since The Rock with athleticism and charisma. You've put on some great matches, keep it up and it's gotta happen. And thanks, guys like you are why I love wrestling.
Pope, I know you are already well aware that there are many more out there just like the young man who sent you that email. We are here, and we're not leaving. When you were still doing your thing in ECW under your given name, I was saying back then that you were one of the most talented guys in the company and that you had a level of potential that was no where even close to being discovered. So, as disappointed as I was to see you leave, I was so excited to see you arrive in TNA, because I knew this was a company where the younger guys could shine. You had the new gimmick and name, and it seemed like there was nothing that could stop you. You had the crowd (I mean congregation) in the palm of your hand every single time you came out. It was magic. But then as you said, just as quickly, we didn't see you so much. They turned you heel for what seems like no logical reason, and it did nothing but hurt your momentum. I've been a fan since I was about 5 years old. So, as a kid I would always look up to guys like Savage and Warrior as being larger than life super heroes. I'm 32 now, so I definitely look at things very differently. I like to see how all the guys handle the parts they are given and imagine how I would do things. I think one other thing that has always drawn me to following your career is the similarities in our birthdays. Yours is 5/24/78 and mine is 5/23/79. This may sound silly, but seeing guys like yourself who are practically the same age as me out there and doing it makes it seem like you're fighting for our generation. It just makes it that much more personal. And to see someone from "our generation" actually step up and take that world championship would be a victory for all of us. So, after all this long winded comment, I just want you to know we're all rooting for you. You deserve it more than anybody, and your day will come. And when it does, I and the rest of us will be there watching and ready to celebrate with you. Thanks so much. -Renevious
Your attitude is admirable and I greatly enjoy reading your writing.
I understand how frustrating it may be to not be given the opportunity to have that positive influence in a dramatic and far reaching manner on television, but your profile still allows you to reach a lot of people. Writing like this is as inspirational as anything anyone can do on a wrestling show.
Keep it up, and I hope you the opportunities you seek are not far away.
You remind me of Mr. Perfect, Pope. You have great, entertaining, competitive matches with everybody, and you know how to keep your edge whether you're hot or cold, face or heel. I'm definitely rooting hard for you to achieve your goal and become first African American TNA champion!
Thank u Pope. I know u will be more successful in the future. Wish u were on Impact every week talking and wrestling. Especially talking cause you know how to entertain.
God bless you, Pope. Your positiveness is inspiring. I know that I personally will continue to seen emails and tweets to TNA, Dixie Carter, Hulk Hogan, Jeff Jarrett, Eric Bischoff, etc. because, while they may not actually take them to heart, it is simply the right thing to do.
Thank you for addressing many things but we all know the real deal.. you deserve this opportunity, you worked for it, you are loyal and dedicated and no matter what you will NEVER let us down.
RMyIK7 w0w this is good

Ron Killings was the first black TNA World Champion. Do some research dude.
